Best Supplements for Osteoarthritis

I believe supplements are a great addition to your management plan. These are the ones I believe may help you.

If you are unsure which one to try sign up for my free 3 day course and it will be explained in there.

Do not try them all at once as you won’t know which one helps! Try one for about 60 days and see if you feel better. If you do then either stick at that or add another. If you don’t then stop taking it!

Everyone Should Take a Multi-Vitamin and Mineral!

There is little doubt that the vitamin and mineral content in our food is decreasing. That means probably everyone should be taking a multi vitamin and mineral but especially kids and us seniors. Do not buy cheap ones as they are a waste of money as the vitamins and minerals are often in a form that the body cannot absorb. This means they go in one end and out the other! These are the ones I recommend because I know the quality is good but they are still reasonably priced.

NR Essentials Multivitamin for Men is the one I recommend for men. It is a good quality well balanced product at a reasonable price.

NR Essentials Multivitamin for Women is the version for women. Again a good quality, well balanced product at a reasonable price.

For People With Osteoarthritis

JointEase Plus contains glucosamine sulphate, Devils Claw and Boswellia serrata- all of which been shown to help osteoarthritis.

And yes I know it says for rheumatoid and fibromyalgia but it works great for OA as well!

Nordic Naturals Complete Omega 3.6.9, Lemon Flavored are a great supplement for people with osteoarthritis. Omega 3, 6 and 9 are all beneficial in joint health and Omega 6 (GLA) has been shown to help with the inflammatory response. If you are not eating at least 3 portions of oily fish per week (mackeral, sardines, salmon and halibut) this should be on your list of supplements.

For People With a Lot of Heat and Swelling

InflammaGo is a homeopathic remedy which relieves joint pain and stiffness. It is particularly helpful for people who have a lot of swelling and  heat around the affected joint. It will also help with that morning stiffness.

Not Strictly a Supplement

RealHeal Oil is great for when you have overdone it.

Apply it after your ice pack or put some in a bath to relieve that early morning stiffness!
